This print is inspired/ in resistance to the many, many, many condominium construction sites that have popped up throughout New York City over the past 5-10 years. These sites often have a "Work in Progress: Residential" sign outside the construction site with a rendering of the future building. This signage is also often a place where anonymous graffiti will appear.
